Extended Field Number and Timestamp format is difficult to use

The current option of specifying a format string when creating a new Number type extended field, is difficult to use as the formatting is rather complicated and not really documented. The same goes for the Timestamp types.

We should therefore either remove this option, or include a popup box containing description of the format field.
