Switch to Maven3

Let's switch to Maven3.

As Maven3 i backward compatible is should be 'free' to switch. I switched on my desktop and Hudson server without problems.

As Maven is really a bareboned platform where functionality can be added through plugins, the updated Maven is mostly targeted at providing a improved platform for the plugin developers. This means the real benefits of switching to Maven3 will occur when the plugin developers take advantage of the improved Maven platform.
