Organization:
BNF
Sprint: NAS 5.3

 Description
  • Rename "Crawllog" by "Job ID Crawllog"
  • On the upper items:
Cached lines: 14533 => Total cached lines: X URIs
Cached size: 4578897 => Total cached size: X bytes
Update cache the cache manually => Update cache
  • Give the possibility to define the number of lines to display (Lines to show: XX) instead of having a drop down with 10 25 50 100 and All.
  • Translate Page navigation in English (currently in danish).
  • Put the top page navigation out of the grey area.
  • After a search, display: Matching lines: X URIs
  • After a search, there is an automatic page reload which remove the search criteria and the page position we were at. Remove the automatic page reload.

Reload should probably be turned off for most of the pages in the h3monitor.
It doesn't make sense to have reload while browsing crawlog or frontier queue.
Only for the jobs overview and the job info does is make sense to have forced reload.

Page reload is based on the value configured in <monitor><refreshInterval>.
At BnF, we have it on 3600 which fixes the problem.

Added a new issue for the undesirable behaviour on reload.

"After a search, there is an automatic page reload which remove the search criteria and the page position we were at. Remove the automatic page reload."

This part still seems to work counterintuitively. I typed "10" into the "Lines to show" field and then clicked on search, but "Lines to show" then changed back to 25. Then when I did "Update cache" it went back to 100. I don't think this should be blocking for release.

To test these evolutions:
1) Run a job.
2) While it is running, go to the H3 Remote Access menu, click on "Job XXX", click on "Crawllog" in the "Job details" section.
3) Compare the page with the attached screenshot.
