 Description   

Create a script to enable users to:

  • add new reject decide rules
  • view newly added decide rules
  • and delete the newly added rules.

To test this feature:
1) Run a job.
2) Pause it after it ran for a few minutes.
3) Go to the H3 Remote Access menu, click on "Job XXX", click on "Add RejectRules" in the "Queue actions" section.
4) Add two regular expressions (e.g. ^.*fav.*$ and ^.*robot.*$) corresponding to URL parterns coming up in the frontier.
5) Insert your initials before clicking on "Add".
6) Unpause the job.
7) Check in the crawl.log that URLs have a "-5000" status code.
8) Delete one the two regular expressions.
