Avoid running slow tests as part of default build

It should be fast to run a sanity checkof the build. We currently have a short list of slow tests which cause the general build to be quite slow. This should be changed so the default build is fast, with a additional option of running a full build/test, which should be used prior to commits, on Jenkins etc.
